The Country in Progress examines how photographs document and represent Time and Space. This Project seeks to unpack the factors that invent new identities and ways of seeing within and the way people think about Rwanda. Also seek to photograph the diverse people and places throughout Rwanda: the country’s ‘unseen’ side that exists independent of and beyond the trauma of genocide. With these portraits and landscape photographs, Nkinzingabo want to include stories and narratives to share both within Rwanda and internationally to communicate Rwanda’s beauty, resiliency and nuance, from history through today.
